8.05 cts purplish-pink-red rhodolite garnet, original high-precision cut design
This rhodolite garnet has a purple and pink hues prominent, and shows a deep red refracting in indoor LED lighting brilliantly. The size of this gem is rather large for a clean rhodolite with raspberry, pink and purple hues, with all but more plain red becoming rare at this scale. The facet pattern is an original modified decagon oval design (with approximate 2-fold oval symmetry) that we precision cut with micro-angle meets requiring somewhat delicate methods. This design gives a beautiful resulting gem, one which contrasts with typical commercially cut stones in a subtle but plain fashion.
