Top color Tanzanite. Extremely radiant. Mined in Tanzania. We custom cut this tanzanite gem from a large piece of clean top color rough over 9 carats. Rough of this caliber in color and clarity is rare in this size for tanzanite. The cutting design we crafted to the rough stone shape for high yield while optimizing for incredible brilliance. Polished at 100K grit for competition tier sparkle. A proper pendant or ring piece with design set to dazzle. Well beyond commercial grade. Videos are below.

Note on Tanzanite and heating. This tanzanite has been lightly heated to bring out its blue and purple colors, as is the usual for the overwhelming majority of tanzanite gems. Any note of tanzanite heating is typically omitted from listings by most gem sellers, even those specializing in untreated stones, in part since laboratory determination of heating remains near impossible. So, unheated naturally blue tanzanite is usually advertised as such, though any laboratory confirmation of such claims is not available. Even with heating, most tanzanite remains far from top color.
